The effectiveness of this treatment may be explained by the stimulation of fibroblasts, increased production of collagen and endogenous hyaluronic acid.

How is the treatment done?

There are different ways to prepare platelet-rich plasma. Rest assured, with WorldPRP, your clinical practitioner is using a best in class system.

1. 23 ml (+ 2 sodium citrate) of blood is collected and transferred into a WorldPRP tube

2. Whole blood is centrifuged into three layers (plasma, platelet rich fibrin clot, red blood cells)

3. Platelet-rich plasma is extracted from the WorldPRP tube and injected in the desired treatment area with the Dp4 microneedling system.

Is there downtime?

PRP is a safe and effective treatment with little to no downtime. Post treatment, you may experience some redness, tingling or mild bruising in the treatment area which will go away. Patients can return to work or continue with normal activities immediately aftertheir treatment
