The BARE 808 is a diode laser handpiece that delivers an 808nm wavelength. The system is intended for permanent hair reduction on skin types (Fitzpatrick I to V).
It can only be used on pigmented hair. It will not be as effective on vellus hair (peach fuzz).
Blond or white hair can experience a temporary hair loss of up to 3 months.

Some Treatment locations: Upper lip, Chin, Forehead, Arms, Axilla, Legs, Bikini, Brazilian, Back & Abdomen.
Growth Phase (Anagen)
Anagen is the only hair that can be targeted because it is in the follicle and rich in melanin. The laser energy follows the melanin down to the follicle to destroy the follicle, causing permanent hair reduction . Due to anagen hair growing only 20-25% at any given time on the face and body, more than one treatment is required for permanant hair reduction.
During your treatment the light pulses will cause a snapping or prickly sensation & warmth but are typically very well tolerated. You may notice redness or swelling similar to a mild sunburn that will typically last a few hours or less. You can expect a 10% to 25% reduction in hair after the first treatment, with hair falling out after 10-14 days. Best results are achieved with a series of 4 to 6 treatments.
There is no downtime associated with treatment.
